Yoga Camp at Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Chitwan

On June 15, 2016 at 6 AM on the sacred and beautiful confluence of Narayani and Trishuli Rivers, Consul General of India, Birgunj in association with Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Chitwan, Brahmakumari Rajyog Centre, Chitwan and Patanjali Yoga Centre, Chitwan organized a Yoga camp as the pre-cursor of 2nd International Day of Yoga- 2016. Later it became a mass yoga campaign by the commoners of Chitwan at various places. The Chief District Officer Mr. Binod Prakash Singh graced the occasion as chief guest. The other distinguished participants were inter alia Army Personnels, Police Officers, Member of Parliaments, Yoga practitioners from Saint Narharinath Yoga Samsthan and renowned businessmen.   Mrs. Anju Ranjan, Consul General, along with the CDO and other distinguished guests launched the Camp by lighting the traditional lamp….the pannas.  
During the workshop, Shri Ravishankar Mani Pandey, Yoga Teacher of Consul demonstrated a number of Yoga Asanas and Pranayam to the participants. #YogaDay

 

Subsequently, Consul launched one week long Yoga and wellness programme in association with the Yogi Narharinath Asharam, Devghat Dham, Chitwan. The programme will conclude on 21 June 2016 with a mega event on 2nd International yoga day, with distribution of certificates to the participants.
